Who you are dealing with

The free scan

The scan reads public pages of the address you enter and reports what it measured. It is an automated estimate, not an audit or a guarantee. Only scan sites you own or have a legitimate reason to check. We may limit or refuse scans to protect other people's sites.

Previews

• A preview is a design concept, not a live website. It is private: reachable only by its link, marked noindex, and its forms do not work.
• A preview made without a request is labeled as an unsolicited concept by Borderless Designs, not affiliated with or endorsed by the business shown.
• Previews expire after 30 days. Anyone holding the link can delete it immediately, and we delete any preview on request.
• A preview uses only facts a business publishes about itself (name, services, phone, area). Logos and photos are used only for the concept and removed with it.

Builds and monthly care

• Prices are those on the pricing page or in your written quote when you accept. The setup fee covers building and launching the site.
• Monthly care covers hosting, security updates, backups and small edits, billed monthly in advance, and continues month to month until either side cancels with 30 days' notice.
• On the $0-down plan the setup fee is spread across 12 monthly payments. Cancelling during that term leaves the unpaid part of the setup fee due.
• You own your domain. It stays registered in your name.
• No lock-in. Month to month after any $0-down term.
• Leave any time with a full export of your site's code and content.
• You confirm you have the right to the text, logos and photos you give us. You own the content of your site; once paid, you also own the design and code we made for it.

Add-ons

Add-ons are monthly and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice. The chat assistant answers from information you approve and may still make mistakes; it is not a substitute for you confirming a job, a price or a time.

Logo cleanup

When you upload a logo you confirm that it is yours or that you have permission to use it. The trace is a drawing of the image you gave us; it does not change who owns the logo or its trademark. We sell a pack only when the trace passed our match check against your file, and you can see a preview before you pay. If a detail is wrong, reply to your receipt within 30 days and we will look at it with you.

The Hub

Each brand page on the Hub belongs to that brand. When you buy from a brand, you are buying from the brand, through its own payment link; refunds and questions about what you bought go to the brand. Brands may not promise income or results, invent reviews, or rush you with deadlines that are not real, and we remove content that does.

In communities and reviews, post only what you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, hateful or harassing. Brands and we can remove posts and remove members who break these rules.

What we are responsible for

We build and run sites with care, but we can't promise any number of visitors, calls, rankings or sales, or uninterrupted uptime from third-party services. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the three months before it arose.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Clark County, Washington, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do. Terms in force when you accepted a quote apply to that project.
